Insight on Business the News Hour with Michael Libbie shares the news of business and economic development.  Today our guests included Ted Irvine the former president of the Des Moines West Side Chamber and a key contributor to a plan known as the Ingersoll and Grand Revitalization Plan that calls for improvements from sewers to streetscapes the latter costing a bit over eleven million dollars.  Then in the second half hour we visit with Todd Frederickson the president of the Iowa Wild Hockey Team.  Todd has a long history in professional hockey and we talked about the past and shined a light on the future.  AHL hockey is coming back to Des Moines.   Along with our conversations with news-makers we share the business news of Des Moines along with the Wall Street Journal Report, stocks of local interest and the agriculture report.
